Nasa Space App Challenge

NASA Space App Challenge (October 7- 8 2023)
Our challenge was to create a game, activity, or story for young learners that explains the mechanics of eclipses, including eclipse seasons, how and why eclipses occur, and why only some people on Earth can see an eclipse at a given time.
My group created a story book about eclipse for young learners to know about eclipse. The book was had a factor of fiction in it to hold the attention of the reader, while providing them with a learning experience. As a team member, I designed the book was responsible for the graphics, which were created using Canva AI image generator. I was able to create a book that was engaging and capturing the essence of the story. My contribution to the book helped enhance the audience's engagement.
We chose the name "Eclipse Enchanters" for our team because we wanted to convey the idea of fascination and magic surrounding eclipses. The word "enchanters" suggested that we aimed to captivate and engage young learners with the wonder of eclipses.  As a member of our team, I had the opportunity to design the logo for our group, we wanted to symbolize the curiosity and exploration of young learners. The girl in front of the eclipse signifies her engagement and interaction with the concept. Additionally, including a girl in the logo promotes diversity and inclusivity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, encouraging all children, regardless of gender, to explore and enjoy learning about science.
